The 2,499 yuan “Longmao” is here, and wine companies are rushing to launch “zodiac wine”

“Year of the Dragon Zodiac Wine ‘Longmao’ Priced at 2,499 Yuan Released for Sale”

Kweichow Moutai Jiachen Year of the Dragon Zodiac Wine has officially hit the market at a price of 2,499 yuan for a 500ml bottle. The price for the new zodiac wine is the same as that of the Year of the Rabbit Zodiac Wine. However, third-party platforms have hyped up the demand for “Longmao” and raised the price to 5,499 yuan per bottle.

In response to the new release, Wuliangye, Zhenjiu, Shede Liquor, and other wine companies have also launched Year of the Dragon zodiac wines, which market analysts believe may bring structural opportunities to the liquor industry.

Kweichow Moutai will make its Year of the Dragon zodiac wine available for purchase at 19:00 on January 6 through the “i Moutai” platform. This special subscription event, “Say Rabbit and Welcome Dragon,” will see the release of 9999 bottles of Moutai liquor for the Year of the Dragon, a significant reduction from the last special event.

The Year of the Dragon Moutai Zodiac Wine will come in two specifications, 53% 375ml x 2 gift boxes and 53% 500ml. Although it was previously rumored that the price of the 500ml Dragon Year Moutai Zodiac Wine would increase to 2,899 yuan per bottle, the market guide price remains at 2,499 yuan per bottle.

The release of zodiac wines for the Year of the Dragon marks an exciting time for wine enthusiasts. Market data shows that previous zodiac wines for the Year of the Ox, Year of the Rat, Year of the Pig, Year of the Dog, and Year of the Rooster range from 3,600 yuan to 3,900 yuan, while the Year of the Rabbit Zodiac Wine is the cheapest at 3,019 yuan after subsidies.

Kweichow Moutai is not the only company capitalizing on zodiac-themed liquor. Other famous wine companies like Wuliangye and Shede have also launched Year of the Dragon zodiac wines, integrating traditional culture and brand image with the core element of “dragon.”

Despite the various pressures faced by the liquor industry, industry insiders believe that demand for alcoholic products will continue to expand. Analysts predict that the liquor sector has a high probability of a strong start during the Spring Festival period and believe that wine companies have a chance for structural opportunities.
