The IMF confirms Georgieva for a second term

WASHINGTON. The executive board of the International Monetary Fund has selected Kristalina Georgieva for a new five-year mandate as director general of the International Monetary Fund, starting from 1 October 2024. The board’s decision, according to an IMF note, was taken by consensus.
