Remembering that the Ds brand broke away from the Citroën brand many years ago to travel the path of exclusivity, it is useless to hide the fact that it is surprising that only today it is bringing back to life the Pallas set-up which, starting from the 1960s, identified the most equipped and refined versions of the avant-garde Ds family. Back then, the Pallas name was inspired by the Palais recognition given to the most exclusive 5-star French hotels. In short, the maximum of exclusivity. Today, however, in the Ds range Pallas does not have the task of being the most luxurious setup ever because this mission in the new version of the range which will debut, according to the French specialized media, in April with the deployment of the Ds 4, will be entrusted to Étoile (who knows based on what logic).

The new structure of the Ds range is not yet known in detail, but it will sweep away the numerous trim levels that recall in particular the most exclusive or iconic areas of Paris such as Bastille, Opera, Rivoli and Trocadero, as well as the Esprit de Voyage and Performance Line ones.

The two new and unique Ds trim levels will logically offer different equipment but, in any case, rich in terms of the type of model with which they will be combined and will be distinguished by specific badges. Pallas’s combines the door of a large Parisian palace and the historic axis of Paris formed by the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, the Concorde obelisk, the Arc de Triomphe and the Arche de la Defense. Instead, that of Étoile consists of a ray of light flanked by the twelve avenues that converge towards Place Charles-de-Gaulle, called Place de l’Étoile until 1970.
