On Wednesday, Eastern Time, the three major U.S. stock indexes fell collectively. As of the close, the Dow fell 211.17 points to 35931.05 points, a decrease of 0.58%; the Nasdaq fell 52.29 points to 15921.57 points, a decrease of 0.33%; the S&P 500 index fell 12.23 points.
