But the fact that the start was so brilliant that so much more money could be earned with vans than with luxury cars was unforeseeable: the adjusted return on sales for luxury cars was a mere nine percent (after 14.8 in the first quarter of 2023 ) – and that of the craftsmen’s carts at a proud 16.3 percent.
