Tourism is also booming: Georgia is one of the few countries that Russians can enter without a visa. In 2022, 20 percent of all tourists to Georgia were from Russia, which is 4.3 percent more than in 2021. In total, Georgia received around 3.6 billion US dollars from remittances, tourism and goods exports from Russia last year, three times more than just a year earlier, reports Transparency International-Georgia.
