Tier Mobility, Europe’s leading provider of shared micro-mobility, has announced the acquisition of Spin, the Ford-owned electric scooter and bicycle operator, marking Tier’s entry into North America. With this acquisition, Tier expands its presence in more than 520 cities in 21 countries and expands its fleet by 300,000 vehicles (electric scooters and scooters and e-bikes), making it the largest multimodal micro-mobility operator internationally.
The fleet will rise to 300,000 units
