United Airlines Launches Direct Flight to Medellín, Colombia – City of Eternal Spring

United Airlines announced today that they will be adding a new route from Medellín, Colombia to Houston, Texas. The flight will begin operating on October 27 and reservations will be available in the coming weeks.

The route will be serviced by a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with a capacity for 166 passengers. United Airlines has a long history in Colombia, having transported 2.5 million people since its arrival in 1994.

Houston is a strategic location for United Airlines as it is one of their main connection hubs in the United States, along with Dallas, Miami, and Atlanta. The city serves as United’s main connection center, allowing passengers to easily reach the airline’s entire network.

This announcement adds to the growing list of international flights now available from Medellín. This year, travelers have been able to enjoy new routes to destinations like Caracas, Aruba, and Miami thanks to airlines like Wingo, Avianca, Latam, and Delta.

United Airlines is excited to offer this new route to its passengers and looks forward to providing them with a seamless travel experience to the vibrant city of Houston.
