In the survey, 27.4 percent of HR managers stated that their graduates preferred to work at the Technical University of Munich to recruit. The TU Berlin (26.8 percent) follows in second place, followed by the RWTH Aachen (25 percent), which lost 3.5 percentage points compared to the previous year and gave up the top spot.

At the universities of applied sciences, the gap is larger, albeit somewhat smaller than in 2022: 16.5 percent of HR managers swear by graduates from Aachen University of Applied Sciences. They are followed by the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (14.3 percent) and the TH Cologne (12.8 percent). The largest university of applied sciences in Germany has improved by two places and 1.2 percentage points in electrical engineering.
