The partnership between Vodafone Italia and Linkem is underway to increase the spread of ultra-broadband services based on 5G FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) technology. The reciprocal wholesale agreement, the press release reads, will guarantee the two operators mutual access to their respective 5G FWA networks to enhance their services and commercial offers independently to Italian families and businesses.
The synergy between the two operators will be based on the specific know-how, on the availability of the respective 5G frequency assets and on the significant infrastructural presence on the national territory to exploit the potential of wireless networks more efficiently.
