Volvo EX30, everything you need to know about the Swedish compact electric SUV

Electric, compact, connected, sustainable and super safe. These are the main characteristics of the Volvo EX30, presented in world premiere in Milan. Characterized by extremely compact dimensions for a Volvo SUV, with a length of only 4.23 meters, the EX30 continues the new 100% electric course of the Swedish brand. In fact, as announced in 2021, it will launch new exclusively electric models starting with the maxi SUV EX90 already on the market and now joined by the EX30. The range will be expanded in 2024 with the EX30 Cross Country, a version characterized by greater ground clearance and with dedicated inserts. Presented as a world premiere in Milan, it will be available for order from 7 June and could arrive between the end of 2023 and early 2024.

Volvo EX30 dimensions and platform

The Volvo XC30 was born on the native electric platform SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) produced by the Geely group (owner of Volvo), already used by compact SUVs such as the Smart #1. The dimensions also make it perfect for the urban environment and there is plenty of space on board thanks to the 2.65-metre wheelbase. Good load capacity, starting from 318 liters and expandable up to 904 liters. Live we find the style introduced by the EX90, starting from the headlights.
