Governor Wang Hao Promotes Equipment Upgrades and Trade-in of Consumer Goods in Hangzhou
Governor Wang Hao of Hangzhou City recently visited Binjiang District for a special investigation on promoting large-scale equipment upgrades and consumer goods trade-in. This initiative, emphasized by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, aims to promote high-quality development and benefit both enterprises and people’s livelihood.
The Governor highlighted the importance of implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s instructions, seizing opportunities, and promoting systematic improvements. One focus of the initiative is addressing the issue of difficulty in taking naps among primary and secondary school students. Starting in 2022, schools in some areas of Hangzhou will customize lying-down sleeping methods during lunch breaks to ensure students can rest comfortably.
During his visit, Governor Wang Hao inspected a pilot program at Silicon Valley Primary School, where 300 sets of reclining tables and chairs were provided. The Governor stressed the importance of listening to students and parents, respecting school differences, and implementing the initiative according to local conditions.
Additionally, Governor Wang Hao visited Uniview Technology Company and Qiming Medical Equipment Company to learn about their R&D and production capabilities. He encouraged the companies to continue innovating and developing advanced equipment and materials to achieve domestic substitution and break foreign technology monopolies.
