To ensure that this doesn’t happen, we now have to ensure there is enough ammunition, artillery, and longer-range artillery. As Germans, if I may mention it again, we were often the first or one of the first to deliver very effective, very dangerous weapons: Gepard anti-aircraft tanks, self-propelled howitzers, multiple rocket launchers, Iris-T, armored personnel carriers and modern Leopards -II main battle tank. I therefore find our debate here to be unadulterated and embarrassing – no one outside of Germany understands that.
