WeChat Pay releases “Statement on Deepening Payment Cooperation and Interconnection with UnionPay Cloud QuickPass”-Tencent WeChat QQ微信

In order to promote the development of the payment service market, Tencent (00700) WeChat Pay and UnionPay Cloud QuickPass are promoting more in-depth interconnection at the payment and service levels based on user transaction security and mutual trust and reliable cooperation. 1. Payment interoperability

WeChat Pay and UnionPay Cloud QuickPass App have officially realized mutual recognition and mutual scanning of offline barcodes. Users can scan the WeChat payment code through the Cloud QuickPass App in provincial capitals across the country to complete the payment;

2. Service interoperability

Cloud QuickPass App fully supports the top-up services of Q coins, QQ Music and Tencent Video;

WeChat Mini Programs gradually support cloud QuickPass payment. The first batches include WeChat Reading, Tencent Video, Maoyan, JD.com, BBK, Luckin and other mini programs in some scenarios. The capability has been tested in grayscale on September 22.

Tencent WeChat Pay and UnionPay Cloud QuickPass have carried out long-term open cooperation and exploration, laying a solid foundation for the acceleration and deepening of interconnection. Prior to this, the two parties jointly promoted the cooperation between Tenpay, UnionPay and China Construction Bank, Bank of China, Bank of Communications, Ping An, CITIC and other banks, and realized the payment function of mobile banking App scanning WeChat payment code.
