The energy transition in Germany without wind power? Inconceivably. Wind is already the most important source of energy. Tens of thousands of new wind turbines are expected to be added in the coming years to supply the Federal Republic with green energy. The government envisages that the 115 gigawatt output mark will be reached by 2030 and, in the best case scenario, the coal phase-out will be completed. Today, wind turbines in Germany have a total output of 61 gigawatts, so the output will have to almost double in the next few years.
