Acne Studios Unveils Bold New Men’s Wear Series for 2024 Autumn and Winter
Swedish fashion brand Acne Studios has just released its latest line of men’s wear for the 2024 autumn and winter season, and it’s a bold departure from traditional motorcycle rider fashion. Teaming up with American experimental electronic rock singer-songwriter Yves Tumor, the collection features an unconventional mix of highly saturated colors, classic motorcycle style, and grunge rock influences.
The new series incorporates detailed elements inspired by rave parties and club culture, creating psychedelic prints that are sure to turn heads. Moto fabrics such as leather and denim are sublimated, contrasted with graphic printed fabrics, faux fur, and tulle. The color palette is dominated by various shades of water pink and blue tones, with pops of bright colors such as pink, green, purple, and orange.
Prints and patterns in the collection are rich in elements, combining cyber psychedelic designs with iconic motorcycle and punk elements like motorcycle belts, tartan, angel patterns, and camouflage. Traditional motorcycle patterns are reinterpreted in a playful and cute way, such as a spray-painted angel wings pattern and AI-generated cat print.
The collection’s silhouettes range from low-waisted to high-waisted, tight to oversized, and feature ultra-small vests, short shearling jackets, knee-length oversized shearling boots, oversized mules, denim pieces with oversized pockets, and long straight floor-length jeans.
