Apple presents its next generation of iPad Pro and Air

CUPERTINO, Calif. (AP) — Apple on Tuesday unveiled its next-generation iPad Pro and Air — models that will have faster processors, new sizes and a new display system as part of the company’s first update to its line of tablets in more than a year.

The presentation at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, comes after the company revealed its steepest quarterly decline in iPhone sales since the start of the pandemic, compounding a decline that is increasing pressure on the company. to improve your products. Apple is scheduled to make a splash next month during an annual conference dedicated to the latest version of its operating systems for iPhones, iPads and Mac computers — software that analysts say will be more powered by artificial intelligence.

Both lines of the new iPad models add eye-catching elements, but have adjusted their prices accordingly. The new iPad Pro has a new slimmer design, a new M4 processor for more processing power, slightly improved storage, and features dual OLED panels for a brighter, sharper display. The company raised prices to match its new items, with the 11-inch iPad costing $999 and the 13-inch model costing $1,299.
