Apple has just presented the new, revolutionary iPad Prowhich offers superior performance and portability in an extraordinarily thin and light design.
Available in silver and space black, the new iPad Pro is available in two versions: a larger 13″ model and an ultra-portable 11″ model. Features and price of the new iPad Pro
Small size. The 11″ model is 5.3 mm thick, while the 13″ model is even thinner: just 5.1 mm. And both are just as rugged as the previous generation. In particular, the 11″ model weighs just under 450 grams, while the 13″ one is approximately 110 grams lighter than the previous model
Display Ultra Retina XDR. One of the main innovations of the new iPad Pro is the Ultra Retina XDR display. This uses tandem OLED technology (which combines the brightness of two OLED panels). The result? 1000 nits of full-screen brightness (for SDR and HDR content), and 1600 nits of peak brightness (for HDR).
Chip M4. Powering it all is Apple’s latest generation of M4 chips. This, based on second generation 3 nanometer technology, guarantees power never seen before on an iPad. The new CPU is in fact able to offer up to four performance cores and six efficiency cores. Plus, the 10-core GPU offers powerful features like Dynamic Caching, mesh shading, and hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
Artificial intelligence. M4 also features the most powerful Neural Engine in Apple’s history. A computing capacity of up to 38,000 billion operations per second.
Cameras. 12MP rear camera with adaptive True Tone flash. The front camera is also a 12 MP with ultra-wide angle and automatic framing (particularly useful for video conferences)
Connectivity. USB-C charging with support for Thunderbolt 3 and USB 4. Wired connection reaches up to 40 Gbps
