AVENGED SEVENFOLD – Release another song from upcoming album

by admin

AVENGED SEVENFOLD deliver “We Love You” as another foretaste of their upcoming eighth album “Life Is But a Dream…,” which will be released on July 2nd via Warner Music.

Life demands a merciless pace from us. “More, more, more” seems to be the maxim of modern Western societies. With their new song, Avenged Sevenfold decide to put a stop to all the madness – and say: “We Love You”. The way you are. Without purchasing the latest products, climbing the next step of the career ladder or building an even higher house.

The new song from A7X is a frenetic roller coaster ride full of ups, downs and unforgivingly good hooks. Ready for the wild ride?

We Love You” is a preview of the upcoming eighth studio album “Life Is But a Dream…” by the band featuring M. Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance, Brooks Wackerman and Johnny Christ, which will be released June 2nd via Warner Records and the marks the first official new music from the multi-platinum California heavyweights since 2016.

“More power / More pace / More money / More taste / More sex / More pills / More skin / More shills / Build tall / Build higher / Build far / Build wider / Build here / Build down / Build up / Build now” – in his lyrics, M. Shadows evocatively enumerates the eternally same mantra of capitalism that rattles through our heads every day, that drives us and ultimately leads us to destroy ourselves and our reality. The song describes the consumer pressures into which we are socially driven – more and more, more and more, more and more deeply. And that often leads to our own ruin, both financially and emotionally. In addition to the powerful lyrics, Avenged Sevenfold once again show themselves to be masters of dynamic transitions and tempo changes in their new track.

The music video for “We Love You” is in no way inferior in intensity. Artist Ryan McKinnon used Unreal Engine to create an innovative visual experience for fans, optimized for Oculus in VR and 360 on YouTube. The visualizer captivates you for a good 6 minutes. It begins in a peaceful, idyllic natural setting, but it is soon being destroyed and then destroyed at a breathtaking pace: a great house is built, soon a city with skyscrapers is built, and it isn’t long before the rest of the technological madness takes its course. But at about 4:30 a.m., the system suddenly gave an error message. Then what happens? Here you can find out. The release of the first single “Nobody” marked the start of the new album cycle in March. The song was accompanied by a stop-motion video created by director Chris Hopewell. The clip, which is spectacular to watch, went straight to number 1 in the YouTube trending charts in the USA and has been viewed more than 4 million times to date, the audio streams for “Nobody” have already passed the 12 million stream mark.

In June, Avenged Sevenfold also return to the live spotlight, playing select arena concerts in New York and LA in the US, followed by an extensive North American tour with Alexisonfire, Falling In Reverse and Kim Dracula. All information about the upcoming tour dates of the band can be found here. Fans in the US could also look forward to an immersive “Life Is But A Dream…” album listening event in Las Vegas late last week, during which the full length of the album could be heard three weeks before its official release. A day later, on Friday, the band plays a surprise show in town at the AREA 15 A lot.
