Azul Conecta started selling new flights connecting Belém to Ourilândia do Norte and Carajás, in the southeast of the state. Operations begin on June 10, with three weekly flights.
Circular flights take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, leaving Belém and going to Carajás airport, in the municipality of Parauapebas. After the stop, it continues to its final destination, in Ourilândia do Norte, located 940 km from the capital.
The company also started sales at its new destination in Ceará, the city of Quixadá, which is located in the Central Sertão of the state. From July 8th, the municipality will begin to receive commercial flights. The connection towards the capital Fortaleza will be made twice a week.
Flights take place on Mondays and Thursdays, leaving Fortaleza at 1:15 pm and landing in Quixadá at 2:05 pm. The return takes place at 2:30 pm, arriving at 3:20 pm in the capital of Ceará.
Both routes will be operated with Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft, with capacity for nine passengers.
