Converse and A-COLD-WALL* Collaborate on New Shoe Model “Converse Weapon Ox”
In another exciting collaboration, Converse has once again teamed up with A-COLD-WALL* to launch a new co-branded shoe model called Converse Weapon Ox. This partnership sees the two brands diving into architecture, industrial design, and material innovation to create a unique and stylish shoe.
Drawing inspiration from A-COLD-WALL*’s signature asymmetry, innovative fabrics, and light colors, the Converse Weapon Ox features a mix of distressed textures and classic geometric elements. The shoe is constructed from wrinkled nylon and suede, with a striking flint gray color and passa nova red lining. It also boasts a three-dimensional geometric tongue, translucent sole, and same-color stitching, along with a quick-wear shoe belt for added personality.
In addition to the new shoe model, the collaboration also includes three clothing items – a double-sided jacket, trousers, and T-shirt. Keeping in line with A-COLD-WALL*’s aesthetic, the clothing pieces feature a loose and comfortable unisex design, with subtle Converse and A-COLD-WALL* logo detailing for a unique visual impact.
To showcase the new collaboration, London-based multi-disciplinary artist Denzel was invited to model the collection, with photography by Ken-Tonio Yamamoto. Denzel’s dedication to experimental art mirrors the confident spirit of the Weapon series, adding a fresh and vibrant energy to the overall look.
With the launch of the Converse Weapon Ox and accompanying clothing items, Converse and A-COLD-WALL* continue to push boundaries and set trends in the world of fashion and design.
