RM Sotheby’s to Hold “Dare to Dream Collection” Auction Featuring Rare Cars and Sneakers
RM Sotheby’s, known for its prestigious car auctions, is set to host a unique event in mid-2024 titled the “Dare to Dream Collection.” The auction will showcase a variety of rare and sought-after items including iconic cars such as the 1996 Ferrari F50 and the 2015 McLaren P1. However, what has caught the attention of many enthusiasts is the inclusion of the Off-White™ x Nike “The Ten” series.
Directed by the late designer Virgil Abloh, the Off-White™ x Nike “The Ten” collection remains a coveted item in the sneaker community. Despite some shoes showing signs of aging with yellowing, they are expected to draw significant interest from collectors. The auction estimates the value of the series to be between $15,000 and $25,000. Additionally, the original 1972 Nike Waffle Racing “Moon Shoe” is expected to fetch between $200,000 and $300,000 at the auction.
Other notable items up for bidding include the Nike SB Dunk Low “Paris,” the 2011 and 2016 versions of the Nike MAG, and exclusive Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 sneakers. The “Dare to Dream Collection” will be previewed in Toronto, Canada on May 31, with bidding open from May 31 to June 1.
