Domodossola, the Contini library will become the “house of culture”

Work is being completed on the building that houses the Gianfranco Contini civic library in Domodossola. And after the transfer of the naturalistic and artistic collections, which were deposited here and which have now found their definitive location in Palazzo San Francesco, large rooms have been released that will see new destinations. The building, inaugurated in 1931 to house girls’ schools, it has undergone interventions on the roof, windows to improve energy efficiency, the rooms have been air-conditioned and the decorative elements of the facade have been restored.
