“The Wedding Day” Production Team Launches New Hilarious Comedy “Romance of the Bad Neighbor”
The production team behind the hit movie “The Wedding Day” has recently launched a new hilarious comedy titled “Romance of the Bad Neighbor”. The movie stars Han Shengyan, a former member of the popular girl group “KARA”, and Lee Ji-hoon from the drama “Moonrise River”.
The plot revolves around a character designer (played by Han Seung-yeon) who works quietly at home every day. When a musician named Seung-jin (played by Lee Ji-hoon) moves in next door, their constant quarrels lead to unexpected romance blossoming between them.
Han Seung-yeon, known for her role in the girl group “KARA”, expressed her excitement at playing a character designer in the movie. Lee Ji-hoon, who auditioned with the dream of becoming an actor after retiring from the army, shared his nervousness at working with Seung-yeon but praised her for being steady and supportive on set.
Both actors found their on-screen romance to be a new and refreshing experience. Han Seung-yeon admitted to feeling shy while acting with an actor of the same age, while Lee Ji-hoon shared that the thin wall separating their characters added an interesting dynamic to their performances.
In preparation for her role as a doll designer, Han Seung-yeon visited a doll studio to study hand movements and even found stress relief in touching the dirt while on set. “Romance of the Bad Neighbor” is set to be released in Taiwan on May 10, offering audiences a hilarious and heartwarming take on unexpected love blossoming between unlikely neighbors.
