The need to massively accelerate the country’s infrastructure is absolutely evident. 14 months after the launch of the NRP, which provides for 750 million euros for infrastructures of public recharges in 2022-2026 – concludes Cardinali – there is still no precise time schedule, as Unrae has been strongly requesting for some time, indicating the times, places and types of columns to be installed, as well as the subjects in charge of making the investments “.
For private charging infrastructures, on the other hand, almost a year after the decree of 25 August 2021 which allocated 90 million in order to incentivize their diffusion, Cardinali explains that “the necessary implementing measures provided for in article 12 have not yet been launched” . The chief executive of Unrae also underlines that “the recent Infrastructure Annex to the Def prepared by Mims, while providing for a ten-year allocation of 300 billion euros for the modernization and construction of road and non-road infrastructures, aimed at improving mobility and circulation of people and goods, it does not even contain a line regarding charging stations for electric vehicles “.
