Wife of Bruce Willis, Emma Heming Willis, speaks out about actor’s health

Emma Heming Willis, wife of actor Bruce Willis, recently took to social media to address concerns about her husband’s health. In a video posted on her official Instagram account, Emma denied claims that Bruce’s life is filled with suffering due to frontotemporal dementia (FTD), a condition that has affected his memory and other abilities.

In the video, Emma condemned sensationalist articles that suggested Bruce no longer experiences joy. She emphasized that her husband is surrounded by love, connection, joy, and happiness in their lives. Emma also called on the press to be more sensitive when reporting on the health of individuals with neurocognitive diseases.

The model expressed her frustration with headlines that misrepresent Bruce’s condition, stating, “I need society – and whoever is writing these stupid headlines – to stop scaring people. Stop scaring people into believing that once they are diagnosed with some type of neurocognitive disease, that’s it. It’s over.”

The news of Bruce’s health first came to light during the 2022 holiday season when his ex-wife, Demi Moore, shared updates on social media. Demi revealed that Bruce has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and that his condition has progressed since the initial announcement of aphasia.

While challenges with communication are a symptom of FTD, Demi expressed relief at having a clearer diagnosis. The family continues to receive an outpouring of love and support from fans and well-wishers as they navigate this difficult time.
