Toronto’s Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) recently launched a new book titled “KAWS: FAMILY” to celebrate the success of KAWS’s first exhibition held at the museum last year. The book features 156 fully illustrated pages showcasing over 70 pieces of KAWS’s creations from the past two decades, including works like “GONE” and “FAMILY”.
In addition to the artwork displayed at the exhibition, the book also includes more than 60 art pieces and installation photos from KAWS’s career, along with an interview with the artist himself. Curated by Julian Cox and Jim Shedden of AGO, the book aims to provide new insights into KAWS’s creative process and influence in the art world.
To mark the launch of the exhibition book, AGO organized a one-night book signing event with KAWS, scheduled for March 1. Tickets for the event can only be purchased in person, and the book is now available for purchase on the AGO official website. Fans and art enthusiasts are encouraged to grab a copy and delve deeper into the world of KAWS’s iconic creations.
