“Mist of the Mist” and “Stormlight” series author Brandon Sanderson is in contact with Bandai Namco, publisher of “Ayrden Circle”, to discuss further cooperation. In an interview earlier this week, Sanderson revealed that he received the Ayrden Circle game from Bandai Namco, along with capes, swords and other game-based items, plus Bandai A note from Namco.

“It says they want to invite me to do something together,” Sanderson said. “I’m actually very interested. And I already have an idea in my head, and I’ll show them what they think.”
In a live interview, Sanderson stated that he had come up with an idea for a Souls game, and that he actually “has an idea for anything.”
“Actually, it’s like, ‘If I were to make a Souls game, what would I do?’ I thought about Magic the Gathering last time, and everyone knows what happened next.”
If FromSoftware works with Sanderson, it will be their second collaboration with a fantasy author. Judging from the example of “Ayrdon Circle”, this kind of cooperation is still very good.
