Firefighters rescued a woman who fell into a well in Río Cuarto

A 49-year-old woman, who fell into a well 1.50 meters deep, was rescued in the last few hours in Río Cuarto.

According to police sources, the episode occurred on Thursday in a home located on Avenida Circunvalación Este on the corner of Tucumán, in the Alberdi neighborhood.

“Duar personnel belonging to the Fire Department, with the collaboration of volunteer firefighters from the region, rescued the woman. Using appropriate techniques they proceeded to extract it. Subsequently, an emergency service transferred the victim to the San Antonio de Padua hospital for her assistance,” they detailed in a statement.

Fortunately, the woman did not suffer serious injuries.
