Fuzhou Pingtung Community Honors Frontline Workers on International Labor Day
In celebration of the upcoming “May Day” International Labor Day, the Party Committee of Pingtung Community in Huada Street, along with the Party Committee of Fujian Daily and the Sanshan Branch of Fujian Strait Bank, organized a special event to pay tribute to the most beautiful workers in the region.
The event, titled “Sending Warmth and Coolness with Love in the Cool Summer,” aimed to show appreciation for the contributions of frontline workers and create an atmosphere of respect for their hard work. President Zhang of Sanshan Branch of Straits Bank and Deputy Secretary Zeng Shuye presented heat-reducing tea, winter melon tea, and other cooling products to sanitation workers, community grid workers, police officers, and other frontline staff who remained on duty during the festival.
Fang Zhenduan, a member of the community grid, expressed gratitude for the community’s support and recognition of frontline workers. He emphasized the importance of their work in ensuring the safety and well-being of residents during the holiday celebrations.
The event not only provided a token of appreciation to frontline workers but also served as a reminder of the community’s commitment to their well-being. Moving forward, Pingtung Community plans to continue supporting frontline workers in various aspects of their lives and health.
Through activities like “Sending Warmth and Coolness with Love in the Cool Summer,” the community hopes to enhance the happiness and sense of fulfillment of frontline workers and build a warm and harmonious environment for all residents.
