How do I maintain my knitted or woolen clothing? With a depilator! – Eline Rey

I love knitwear. Oversized sweaters, knitted hats and scarves are obviously some of my favorite items in autumn and winter. Although in the past I have not always treated my knitting with love. As soon as balls of fuzz started to appear, I left those items aside. And yet there is such a simple and affordable solution to rid your beloved knitwear of its fluff. Fortunately, there is such a thing as a depilator. Also called a fluff thief. Wadisda?

Very simply explained, a depilator is one small machine that shaves the fluffy balls from your clothesso that they look like new again. Actually, my mom deserves all the credit, because years ago she did me this depilator from Philips gift. In the meantime, I have already rescued dozens of sweaters, cardigans and scarves from clothing neglect. In just a few minutes, your garment will be cleared of the fluffy – and sometimes unkempt – pile of balls. The best of all? This tool is super affordable.

The depillers from Philips and Steamery

If you want the copy that my own mother gave me, then Philips is the right place for you. You can get started at your home for twenty euros. For me, this brand remains a no brainer when it comes to quality electrical household appliances.

Steamery I only met him about two years ago. It is a real difference maker when it comes to clothing maintenance. The Swedish company is known for its high-quality clothing steamers, brushes, depillers and more. And because the eye also wants something, all their products also look great. If my own device ever breaks down, I will strongly consider opting for this brand. Read more about Steamery’s depillers.
