ROME – What if a camper becomes a terrace? What if a camper looks more like a five-star hotel than a temporary accommodation? And, finally, the definitive question: if these premises could become reality, where would the inspiration go?
This is what, more or less, the Renault designers must have asked themselves, imagining a desire for five-star escapism. And, listen, the Renault Hippie Caviar Hotel is the end result. It will be seen in Dusseldorf, at the Salone from 27 August.
The French house has indulged itself, managing to mix and reinvent a camper with an equipped roof terrace, removable bed outside, deliveries by drone. They thought it two-tone, a tribute to the hippie movement of the 60s and to the legendary Renault Estafette camper (which will accompany its heir to Germany). It is a VIP offer, undoubtedly, pending the arrival of the electric version of Trafic in 2022. Because this is the model on which a nomadic life was imagined but with the space, comfort and modularity necessary to travel. The dimensions of the van / camper also facilitate parking.
