Ignacio Torres and De Loredo went to the Milei intersection due to accusations of “bribes” in Congress

The governor of Chubut, Ignacio Torresand the president of the block of deputies of the UCR, Rodrigo De Loredotoday they rejected the sayings “dangerous and deeply disrespectful” from President Javier Milei about the alleged “bribes” that some legislators would receive to reject the DNU and the Omnibus Law. They urged that “proceed to report and investigate them».

In an extensive text on his X account, De Loredo assured that “the President’s statements are not going to intimidate our behavior” and considered that the UCR is “in the position of giving the government the legal tools it needs to carry out its government plan without excesses and without leaving the most vulnerable sectors of society like our retirees defenseless”.

Last month, in an interview given to the television channel news+, Javier Milei had accused that some legislators “they look for bribes” to pass certain laws in Congress.

Regarding these accusations, De Loredo responded: «We once again urge that you proceed to report them and investigate. “Either (the President) knows facts about which he does not report, or he reports facts that do not exist,” he explained and added that “in both cases the Government fails to fulfill the duties of a public official” and “to continue and not go to court the government “We will be the ones who will do it,” he warned.

Likewise, the head of the radical bloc considered that “none of the matters addressed in the regulatory packages are linked to the urgent economic situation either” and clarified that since the DNU “is operational and having effects since December 29, those tools already have them.” » and in any case «in the text of the omnibus law there is no monetary or fiscal stabilization plan» to address the current economic situation.

Ignacio Torres also urged Milei to “make the corresponding complaint”

For his part, the governor of Chubut supported the statements of the Cordoba deputy and considered ““Dangerous and deeply disrespectful to affirm that there are spurious interests in seeking modifications to the omnibus law or marking any disagreement with the DNU.”.

And he pointed out that “the 10 Governors of the PRO and the Radical Civic Union are showing more than sufficient signs of support and cooperation with a government that takes office in a critical situation as a result of the erratic policies that plunged us into poverty.”

«We ask the Government that when they claim any crime by any deputy, current official or from previous administrations, governor or mayor, the corresponding complaint is made«the PRO governor urged and stressed that «we respect the people’s decision and we are committed to governability» but he considered that «aggression and accusations cannot be the modus operandi for those who do not think alike on some issue«.
