According to news from Japan’s NHK TV station on the 8th, on October 29, Japanese voice actor Shuko Ota died in a hospital in Kanagawa Prefecture due to heart failure at the age of 89. She has voiced many well-known Japanese animation characters, including Nobita Nobita in “Doraemon”, Leo “The King of the Forest” and so on.

Ota’s troupe announced his death on the 8th, and the funeral will be held by his relatives. Yoshiko Ota was born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, and worked for the Takarazuka Opera Company. Since the 1960s, she has been a voice actress and participated in many animation dubbing.
