JJ Lin, the popular singer known as the “King of Golden Melody,” recently shared a glimpse into his struggles with illness during his “JJ20 World Tour Concert” in Chengdu, China.
According to a report by The Epoch Times on March 15, 2024, JJ Lin, who had been battling a cold and fever prior to the concert, decided to go on stage and give his all for his fans. He even took to Weibo to apologize for not being in the best condition and promised to push through despite his health issues.
In a behind-the-scenes video posted on Weibo, JJ Lin revealed that he had been struggling with his health leading up to the concert. Despite feeling weak and even requiring an intravenous drip on the second day of the concert, JJ Lin powered through and continued to perform for his fans.
After the concert, JJ Lin shared his thoughts on the experience, stating, “Every cell in my body was warning me: Don’t go on stage, but I knew clearly in my heart that the stage was my home. Even if I only had one breath left, I would go on stage.”
Currently, JJ Lin’s agency, JFJ, has confirmed that he is still recuperating and hopes to get better in time for his upcoming shows. Meanwhile, fellow singer Jacky Cheung, who is also touring in China, recently announced the cancellation of three concerts due to illness, attributing his absence to a COVID-19 infection.
