Juan Rivera recently made a shocking revelation on the YouTube channel of his mother, Mrs. Rosa Rivera. Lupillo’s brother, Jenni (RIP), and Rosie indicated that he suffered abuse at the age of 7 by a 14-year-old teenager. This event marked him and he did not even understand what had happened to him because as he himself mentioned it seemed “good”, but now he knows that it was wrong.
“Did you know that they did something to me as a child? She was a woman, and since I was a boy, I was seven years old, I said: ‘this thing is cool… I’m a boy, she’s a girl and this is normal,’” he said. According to Juan, what made him realize what had happened was having his son at the same age. He mentioned, “I didn’t realize that it was crazy until my (son) was seven years old,” then he knew that it had not been a game, but an abuse.
Although Juan’s story shocked the networks, his mother’s reaction has been criticized by Internet users. Doña Rosa argued by saying that “she liked the leperada,” which was considered a lack of empathy for Juan’s confession. Internet users expected a more understanding reaction to his words. “Mexican mothers can sometimes be very cruel with their comments. And they even try to make jokes,” they mentioned.
