Recently, KENZO and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) jointly launched the planned third capsule series. The design pattern includes not only the symbolic tiger, but also different kinds of big cats. The tiger symbolizes the spirit of KENZO when it was founded: powerful energy, natural source of inspiration, and the vigorous eastern jungle spirit. Unfortunately, this charming cat is on the verge of extinction. KENZO hopes to contribute to the protection of this iconic animal. To this end, KENZO and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) continue to work together to support its goal of doubling the number of wild tigers in the world in the year of the tiger in 2022. This target is called TX2 and is one of the most ambitious conservation targets ever set for a single species. The essential items of the new capsule series include sweatshirts, T-shirts, knitted pullovers, etc. KENZO promised to donate US$10 to the TX2 Fund for every Tiger Capsule series product sold, and the cooperation will continue until the end of 2022.
It is reported that this cooperation is part of a broader partnership between KENZO and WWF. The partnership will also improve the sustainability and water footprint of the brand’s cotton supply chain. The new capsule series is now available on KENZO’s official website and global stores.
