Layoffs at Enacom could reach 500

The national government ordered the closure of the provincial delegations of the National Communications Entity (Enacom), so it is estimated that there will be added 500 layoffs to the cuts that the administration that the president Javier Miley has been doing in the State. The resolution also established that it must be “disseminated in the relevant communication channels for a period of 30 days, counting from the publication of this document, the means of attention, submission of complaints and other administrative procedures of the Ente, replacing the face-to-face care provided at the aforementioned headquarters”.

In addition, the National Directorate of Attention to Users and Delegations, the General Directorate of Administration and the General Directorate of Human Resources must be “instructed so that within the framework of their powers they proceed to carry out the tasks aimed at complying with the article 1st of the present”.

According to the resolution, it will begin with a cut of about 400 employees and by the time the closure tasks are completed, layoffs would reach 500.
