Liu Tianchi’s Drama Farming Society Premieres “Little Rabbit Master” to Critical Acclaim

Liu Tianchi’s Drama Farming Society made a grand entrance into the theater world with the premiere of “Little Rabbit Master,” a children’s play that has garnered praise and admiration from audiences and critics alike. The play, produced by the Liu Tianchi Performance Workshop, debuted at the Dahua City Performing Arts Center in Beijing on January 20, marking the official establishment of the Plowing Drama Club by Liu Tianchi.

“Little Rabbit” is a reimagining of the traditional Chinese Rabbit mythology, incorporating immersive stage design and multimedia technology to bring a new and unique storytelling experience to the audience. The play also features interactive workshops, science exhibitions, and picture book displays, creating Beijing’s first mushroom living room theater.

Directed by Ren Dongsheng and featuring renowned musicians and actors, “Little Rabbit” is the inaugural production of the Mushroom Family Living Room Theater, an initiative by Liu Tianchi’s Drama Club. The theater aims to provide an immersive and interactive experience for children, nurturing their curiosity and imagination while also offering a nostalgic journey for adults.

Liu Tianchi expressed his vision for the Mushroom Theater, stating, “I hope that Mushroom Theater can allow children to extend their personalities without limit, allowing adults and children to be as unscrupulous as they are in the living room. At the same time, I hope that this is not just a performance, but that drama can enter daily life and make daily life extraordinary.”

The Drama Club, founded by Liu Tianchi, focuses on developing children’s drama IP and live performances of legendary adult dramas, with a diverse range of activities to complement each production. The urban living room theater concept introduced with “Little Rabbit” aims to bridge the gap between the stage and the audience, fostering a sense of home and community within the theater space.
