Chen Li’s requirements for actors are very strict, even harsh. Liu Ye said that when he arrived on the island, the director felt that he was too white, and let him sunbathe, and finally peeled off his skin after exposure to the sun, and put himself a wounded makeup. The director felt that he was close to Wang Jicai. On the first day of filming, Liu Ye took 27 shots for the first shot. He hasn’t shot 27 shots for several years. Chen Li said that each of them was actually very good, but she thought he would be better because he was Liu Ye.
