SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Bennedict Mathurin scored 25 points as the shorthanded Indiana Pacers beat the Sacramento Kings 126-121 on Thursday night.

Indiana was without Pascal Siakam, its newly acquired forward, who has not joined the team after a trade with Toronto. Another star, Tyrese Haliburton, missed his fifth straight game with a strained left thigh.

Aaron Nesmith (shin injury) and Andrew Nemhard (back, also missed for the Pacers. Isaiah Jackson left in the first quarter after taking a hit to the head.

TJ McConnell had 20 points and 10 assists to help Indiana win for the 10th time in 13 games. Myles Turner added 18 points and Jalen Smith added 17, along with grabbing 13 rebounds.

Kevin Huerter scored a career-high 31 points for Sacramento, which made seven of 12 three-pointers. Keegan Murray added 27 points and nine rebounds, but the Kings suffered their fourth straight loss.
