“Mayday” and Energy Rock the Stage in Central, Hong Kong

The popular Taiwanese band “Mayday” brought their electrifying performance to the waterfront event space in Central, Hong Kong on the 3rd of May. The band Energy was also invited as a guest to join in on the fun. Energy, known for their high-energy performances, sang and danced their latest single “Friday Night” and even challenged the difficult “E16 squat”, pushing the atmosphere to new heights.

During the concert, Energy and Mayday shared the stage, with Mayday even joining in on Energy’s performance of “Friday Night”. The crowd was thrilled when Mayday members joined Energy on stage for a hand dance during the chorus. Energy member Nai Niu even jokingly challenged Mayday to do the “E16 squat”, to which Mayday replied with a laugh and a promise to perform more songs instead.

Ashin, a member of Mayday, revealed that he had practiced dancing with Energy backstage before the show. He credited Milk for helping him practice their hit song “Little Nurse” daily.

Energy, formed in 2002, has seen a resurgence in their career after a 20-year hiatus. Their latest album “Here I Am” has been well-received, and they are set to perform at the Taipei Arena in July. This concert marks the third time Energy has been a guest at a Mayday concert, showcasing their strong bond with the Taiwanese band.

Energy expressed their gratitude to Mayday for helping them make a successful comeback in the music scene. Despite joking about trying to catch up to Mayday’s success, Energy is focused on reliving past memories and making up for lost time.
