Chinese developer Leap Studio to launch stylish action roguelite game āRealm of Inkā in Early Access on May 17th
With a limited number of AAA projects planned for this May, indie game enthusiasts are in for a treat as Chinese developer Leap Studio confirms the release of their new game, Realm of Ink, in Early Access on May 17th on Steam.
The game features a unique blend of 2.5D Chinese-style ink painting and modern art direction, with a combat system reminiscent of the popular game Hades. The storyline delves into philosophical themes such as the importance of life, nihilism, and existentialism, promising a deep and engaging narrative experience.
In the Early Access version, players can expect four acts, eight bosses, and the first playable character, Red the Swordswoman, who comes equipped with three unique weapons. Players will also have access to 20 Ink Gem skills, 15 Ink Pets skills with over 40 forms, and 150 perks to enhance their gameplay experience.
Leap Studio plans to continuously update the game during Early Access, adding new content such as playable characters, weapons, Ink Pets, bosses, and game mechanics. The full 1.0 version is set to release on consoles in 2024.
In the meantime, players can get a sneak peek at the game with the new Animitta Asura boss fight trailer. Realm of Ink promises to offer a captivating and immersive experience for fans of action roguelite games.
