Mexican actor Juan Verduzco, best known for his role as “Don Camerino” in the popular sitcom Familia P. Luche, passed away on Monday at the age of 80. The National Association of Actors (Anda) confirmed the news of his death.

Verduzco, who was born in 1944 in Chihuahua, had a successful acting career spanning five decades. He gained fame in 1974 with his role in the soap opera Mundo de Juguete, and appeared in various films, series, and soap operas throughout his career.

His most iconic role came in 2002 when he portrayed the character of “Don Camerino” in La Familia P. Luche, where he played the boss of Ludovico Peluche. Verduzco also had appearances in shows like Vecinos, Alma de Hierro, and Amores Verdaderos.

While the cause of his death is still unknown, Verduzco’s last project was the 2021 series “Esta Historia Me Suena.” The actor will be remembered for his contributions to the Mexican entertainment industry and his memorable performances on screen.
