Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios, was warmly welcomed in San Francisco, California this Friday, March 8th, by a crowd of Nicaraguans outside the Las Tinajas restaurant. The universal queen entered the premises where a meet & greet event was held with city authorities and recognized figures from the Latin community in the city.

One of the organizations that organized this meeting between the universal queen and the Nicaraguan community in San Francisco is Kids. Through their social networks, they detailed that Palacios’ visit was in the context of International Women’s Day, recognizing the struggles of Latin women in the country.

The meeting between Miss Universe and her fans lasted about an hour, during which attendees had the opportunity to meet, greet, and take photos with the universal beauty. Las Tinajas, a Nicaraguan food restaurant, is known for being the place where Sheynnis Palacios and her mother meet when Miss Universe visits her mother.

In recognition of her work in favor of Latin American girls and women, Sheynnis Palacios received a recognition from Joaquín Torres, an official from the Mayor’s Office of San Francisco. Miss Universe 2023 has already been recognized as one of the 50 most influential women in Latin America by the Bloomberg news platform.

On her tour of the United States, Palacios visited San Francisco as her first city and is set to arrive in Miami on Tuesday, March 12th. The tour will conclude with the placement of a wreath at the monument to the poet Rubén Darío in the park of the same name in Sweetwater on Sunday, March 17th. Please note that activities may be subject to change due to logistical issues.
