Neuquén reactivated the commission to detect and eradicate child labor

The government announced the reactivation of the provincial commission for the detection, prevention and eradication of child labor (Copreti), created in 2008. The first session will be in May. The official presented the progress made in the first months of management. In addition, the new Copreti regulations were presented and a intraministerial action protocol to the detection of girls, boys and adolescents in a working situation, with the clear objective of updating the statistical data related to the problem to comprehensively address an issue as complex as child labor.

Copreti has the mission of developing, articulating, coordinating and monitoring the policies of the Provincial State with the objective of preventing and eradicating child labor, regulating artistic child labor and protecting adolescent work in the province, promoting the protection and restitution of violated rights of minors.
