A new film in the ‘Jurassic world‘ franchise is said to be on the way. This was reported by the American magazines ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ and ‘Variety’.

Jurassic world: dominion in 2022 would be the last. The finale of a successful trilogy that followed the ‘Jurassic Park’ series, and which grossed over a billion dollars at the box office. All six films grossed no less than six billion dollars. Now it looks like Universal isn’t quite done with dinosaurs after all. (Read more below the photo)

A new film is said to be on the shelf at the film company. The screenplay is currently being worked on by David Koepp, the man who wrote the original Jurassic Park from 1993 and its sequel Jurassic Park: The Lost World (1997). Based on the books by Michael Crichton. Steven Spielberg is once again executive producing with his company Amblin Entertainment. It has not yet been decided who will direct. The past ‘Jurassic world‘ films were helmed by Colin Trevorrow and JA Bayona.

It would be a new storyline. It is not certain whether familiar faces such as Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and Sam Neill will return.
“It was very emotional to realize that this chapter is closed,” Dallas Howard told this newspaper upon the release of Dominion in 2022. “Although, maybe there will be more projects in this world. Like a video game. Laura, Sam and Jeff have also always been involved since Jurassic Park.”
The last film had an open ending, so sequels are always a possibility. Dinosaurs had spread freely throughout the world, forcing humans to learn to coexist with the new, sometimes terrifying species. It is not yet known when the film will hit theaters. Although The Hollywood Reporter talks about sources talking about 2025.
