Natti Natasha Reflects on Relationship with Raphy Pina
Miami, Fl. – Natti Natasha has opened up about the complexities of her relationship with producer Raphy Pina in a recent interview. The singer admitted she had trouble distinguishing between professional and personal feelings as she transitioned from seeing Pina as her manager to something more during the early stages of their romance. She confessed to taking the first step towards a loving relationship, but the path was not without its challenges.
However, the real struggle came when she was forced to face the federal judge Francisco Besosa’s sentence that would separate her from Pina for 41 months after he was found guilty of illegal possession of firearms. Describing the moment of his imprisonment, Natasha said, “I remember it every day, because I couldn’t believe it. I had to stay focused to move forward, to give him strength. It wasn’t about me, it was about him, about the family.”
She reveals that Pina’s incarceration was a heavy burden that left her feeling empty. Nevertheless, it did not shake their commitment to each other but rather strengthened their bond. Natasha elaborated, “Before being Raphy’s partner, I am Raphy’s friend, and no one can take that away. So many years are not wasted at a person’s worst moment. It’s impossible.”
Visiting Pina in prison every two weeks with their daughter and his three other children has become a source of happiness for the singer. She speaks fondly of how they find joy in the simplicity of being together, taking comfort in the memories they create during their time together.
Despite the difficulties they have faced, Natti Natasha remains hopeful for the future. She has embraced music and motherhood as sources of strength and looks forward to the moment Pina is released next summer.
Reflecting on her experience, Natasha expressed gratitude for the love and life they have built together and remains optimistic about the possibility of expanding their family in the future.
