Hello! This is Shunya Iwakami.
Last year, I wrote a blog about participating in my first marathon event, but this time I would like to report that I participated again!
I participated in the Miura International Citizen Marathon.
When I looked into it, I found out that there were a lot more marathon events than I expected, and I wasn’t sure which one to run in, but if I was going to run, I wanted to go somewhere with a nice view! So, we decided to hold the tournament on the sea side of the Miura coast.
The weather was very nice that day, and the scenery was more beautiful than I expected! ! It was great up to that point, but the course had a lot of height differences and the slopes were incredibly tough.lol
After researching it, I found out that it wasn’t the first course for beginners. LOL When I reached the hill near the halfway point, I almost felt like I was halfway there. LOL But still, I managed to finish the race with enthusiasm!
After completing the race, I felt a great sense of accomplishment and fatigue, and my mind felt much healthier. Another thing that made me think was that I wanted to run a full marathon.lol
I had been thinking about running a full marathon in the future, but when I thought about running twice the distance from now on, I realized that there are only so many people who have already completed the marathon.lol
I think I still need to practice a lot to run a full marathon, so for the future I’m going to do it whenever I can!
And I definitely want to complete a full marathon!
