Pharmacist Luciana Berardengo Morel, 95, partisan relay in the Stura valley, freelance in Ventimiglia for over half a century, died in her home in Borgo San Dalmazzo, where she was born in 1926. During the Second World War it joined the Justice and Freedom brigades of the commanders Duccio Galimberti and Detto Dalmastro. Graduated in Pharmacy at the University of Turin, in 1954 she moved to Ventimiglia, where her husband Simone Morel owned a pharmacy in the city center. She joined him until 1991, when she became a widow, and then continued the business until the second half of the 2000s. Woman of profound culture, dedicated to family and work, sportswoman, he loved the mountains, alpine skiing and swimming. She was also passionate about painting on ceramics and engaged in volunteering with the Oftal for the accompaniment of the sick in Lourdes. He leaves his daughters Anna (pharmacist in Ventimiglia), Maria (lawyer in Turin), Silvia (teacher of pharmaceutical techniques and legislation in Novara) and son Stefano (lawyer in Cuneo). The funeral will be celebrated on Wednesday 17 November, at 10, in the cathedral of Cuneo.
